厨房機器を収める家具「見晴らし珈琲」をデザイン、製作した。
中にはエスプレッソマシンや冷蔵庫などを収めており、扉をあけて使用する。
さらに壁を引き出すと小さな店舗へと拡張することができる。
「見晴らし珈琲」が設置されているのは京都の5階建てのホテルの屋上である。
このホテルの周辺、北側と東側には高い建物がないため、良い眺望が得られる。
ここでは程よく風が吹く中、普段は見ることができない京都をコーヒーと共に楽しむことができる。
収納時にはロッカーや分電盤のようなシンプルで静かな箱のような佇まいを。
展開した時は店としての「構え」をつくりつつ、おもちゃ箱のような賑やかさをまとったデザインを目指した。
ホテルの屋上という、普段使われていない場所の可能性をアップデートするプロジェクトである。
Designed and manufactured the furniture “Miharashi coffee" that kitchen equipment.
It contains an espresso machine, a refrigerator, etc., and is used by opening the door.
If you pull out the wall further, it transforms into a small shop.
"Miharashi coffee" is installed on the rooftop of a five-story hotel in Kyoto.
There are no tall buildings on the north and east sides of this hotel, so you can enjoy a good view there.
A pleasant breeze blows here, and you can enjoy Kyoto with coffee, which you can't usually see.
When closed, it looks like a simple and quiet house.
When transformed into a shop, it has a lively design like a toy box.
This is a project to update the possibilities of places that are not normally used,
such as the rooftop of a hotel.Kyoto as a house.
